Excellent location, just a few minute walk from the U-Bahn, the KaDeWe department store and a local supermarket which was open until late. Also, just a 10-minute walk (maybe 15' if you drag your luggage with you) from the DB station from where you can catch a train to the airport. In the mornings (I don't think it is open on weekends) there was a small flea market nearby from where we had the chance to try some local street-food and pastries (accepting only cash though). There are many great options for brunch, shopping and dining at a close proximity, however, after 22:00-23:00 choices are somewhat limited, as expected. The neighborhood is quite peaceful during the evening and we had no issue whatsoever with outside noises during sleeping hours. The hotel staff were all very helpful and hospitable from the very beginning. We booked a double room for our stay and it was exactly as described: fully equipped, clean and spacious. The coffee and pastries provided free of charge during breakfast were most welcome and delicious. Near the reception there was a stand with free brochures for the main attractions and city-tours that was a nice touch to get an idea of the current exhibitions running in the city. There were also magnets and post-cards available for us to buy (handy for a last-minute gift). Overall, it was a great stay. I highly recommend this place and will most definitely return in the future.

My partner and I stayed here from 9th to 14th October 2024. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in and would award it 5★+, that's to say it could have been less good and still received 5★ from me. It's quiet, ideally located and it's a safe area. There's an underground/ U bahn station very close by, along with a superb little supermarket with lots of ready to eat food. A couple we chatted to on the plane stayed in the Alexanderplatz area and had a very different experience! Avoid Alexanderplatz! The sleep quality is always the main consideration when it comes to a hotel in my view. Here, it was excellent. We selected a "courtyard" room, which was a little quieter than one at the front would have been. The room is cleaned every 3 days, which is ideal. We don't need any more often than that, but if you want additional towels, they'll provide them on request. They also wash your crockery and cutlery if you take it down to reception. There's no breakfast service, but again, that is fine, as the nearby shop has it covered. They provide free coffee and croissants in the morning, which is perfect for a morning snack and caffeine fix! The staff are great and speak good English. We left our luggage there on our last day as we had a late flight. We would certainly stay here again and fully recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel in Berlin.

The property was in a fantastic location - close to groceries, metro/bus, even many different shops (clothes, shoes, cosmetics, Harribo shop, sport shop, etc.). Various nice places to have breakfast at. It is also walking distance from the Zoo/Aquarium. The staff was friendly and the hotel was super clean. I didn’t get the coffee/pastry in the morning but it is available. There is also a bar and nice seating area downstairs which can be handy if you don’t feel like going anywhere else by the end of a day. I had a courtyard facing room and it was quiet. There was good selection of tea/coffee in the room and complimentary bottle of sparkling water. The shower gel in the shower was good quality and smelled nice.

Excellent value for money. Very convenient location for exploring Berlin, close to Wittenberg Platz U-Bahn station with three U-Bahn lines. The hotel is basic, no frills, but it does the basics very well. Good bed, shower, good-sized room, friendly and competent staff. The hotel provides free croissants and coffee/tea for breakfast; if you want a more diverse breakfast you can go to a bakery and supermarket that are very close to the hotel. I have stayed here three times already, would definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

The hotel is located very centrally, close to public transport, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. It is very clean and well maintained throughout. My room had a kettle, which I found very nice. Also, the hotel is very quiet, although the room was facing the street. The bed was comfortable and cosy and I had a very good night's rest. Also, the free coffee, tea and croissants in the morning were a nice bonus.
